Templates
A clear structure to start from.
These are practical, browser-readable setups you can recreate in Pamplemousse. Use them as written, adapt the names, or borrow only the parts that help.
Templates are guided setups, not one-click imports. Nothing on this page is downloadable or installed automatically. Use the structure as written, adapt it, or take only the parts that fit.

Use a Grove, Branches, follow-up Seeds, and Pulp to preserve context without turning people into tasks.
Personal commitment inventory
Intended user: someone setting up Life Mode for the first time, or rebuilding an overcomplicated personal system.
Create these Groves:
- Health — Root: “Protect the energy and capacity that make the rest of life possible.” Seeds: “Book the next overdue health appointment.” · “Choose this week’s movement plan.”
- Home — Root: “Keep home safe, functional, and restorative.” Seeds: “List the three home issues needing attention.” · “Choose one repair or reset to complete this week.”
- Relationships — Root: “Stay present with the people I care about.” Seeds: “Identify three people I want to reconnect with.” · “Schedule one unhurried conversation.”
- Finances — Root: “Make money decisions with awareness rather than avoidance.” Seeds: “Review current balances and upcoming payments.” · “Choose one financial action for this month.”
- Learning — Root: “Keep developing skills and perspectives that matter to me.” Seeds: “Choose one active learning focus.” · “Schedule the next study session.”
- Creativity — Root: “Make room to create without requiring every effort to become productive.” Seeds: “Choose the piece or practice I want to continue.” · “Prepare the materials for the next session.”
Setup rule: keep only the Groves that represent real current commitments. Rename, combine, or remove the rest.
Optional Pulp item — “Commitment inventory notes”: commitments I may be overlooking · commitments I am ready to release · areas that feel overloaded · areas receiving too little attention.
Project launch
Intended user: someone beginning a defined personal or work project with multiple phases.
Create this Grapefruit: “Launch [project name]”, placed in the Grove responsible for the ongoing area.
Segment: Define
- Seed: “Write the desired outcome.” — Sprouts: “Describe what will be different when this is complete.” · “List the conditions required for completion.”
- Seed: “Confirm the project boundary.” — Sprouts: “List what is included.” · “List what is explicitly excluded.”
- Seed: “Identify the people involved.”
Segment: Prepare
- Seed: “Gather the required source material.”
- Seed: “Confirm the first milestone.”
- Seed: “Identify the main dependency or risk.”
- Seed: “Schedule the first review.”
Segment: Deliver
- Seed: “Complete the first usable version.”
- Seed: “Review the result against the desired outcome.”
- Seed: “Resolve the highest-impact gap.”
- Seed: “Confirm final approval or acceptance.”
Segment: Close
- Seed: “Record the final decision and outcome.”
- Seed: “Move reusable material into Pulp.”
- Seed: “Capture any follow-up work.”
- Seed: “Harvest completed Seeds.”
Create this Pulp item — “Project brief”: desired outcome · scope · people involved · important dates · dependencies · decisions · useful links · open questions.
Weekly review
Intended user: someone who wants a repeatable review without building a complicated planning ritual.
Create this Seed: “Complete weekly review”. Create one version in Life, Work, or both, depending on what you review. Set a Propagation of weekly, on your chosen review day.
Add these Sprouts in order:
- Clear Inbox.
- Review overdue Seeds.
- Check Today for inaccurate dates or priorities.
- Confirm every active Grapefruit has a next Seed.
- Review waiting or blocked work.
- Review active Propagations.
- Check each active Grove for neglected commitments.
- Review important Branch follow-ups.
- Look at Juice for patterns worth noticing.
- Run Zest if another perspective would be useful.
- Choose the coming week’s current focus.
- Harvest finished work.
- Capture any remaining loose ends.
Optional Pulp item — “Weekly review notes”: what moved · what stalled · what no longer matters · what needs a decision · what deserves attention next week.
The method behind this setup is in Run a weekly review you can trust.
Relationship tending
Intended user: someone who wants to remember context and follow through with important people without treating relationships like a sales pipeline.
Use or create this Grove: “Relationships”, with the Root “Stay attentive to the people and relationships that matter to me.”
For each person, create a Branch with: name · how you know each other · preferred contact details, if useful · important dates you genuinely want to remember · last meaningful contact · next promised follow-up.
Create these Seeds only where there is a real action:
- “Reply to [name] about [specific subject].”
- “Schedule time with [name].”
- “Send [name] the resource I promised.”
- “Check in with [name] after [specific event].”
Optional Propagation: a monthly Seed, “Review relationship follow-ups”, with Sprouts to check open follow-up Seeds, review Branches with an outstanding promise, decide who genuinely needs attention, and remove reminders that no longer feel appropriate.
Optional Pulp item for a Branch — “Shared context”: topics you both care about · current circumstances they asked you to remember · promises or decisions · links or materials you discussed.
Keep this to context that helps you show up well. A Branch is a place to remember a person, not a place to compile a profile of them — record what has a clear personal reason to be there, and nothing more.
Recreate any of these once you have access.
Pamplemousse is in private beta. These setups are written out in full so you can build them by hand — there is nothing to download.
