Where Life and Work have grown into the same Branch. Usually a person. Usually one you’d forgotten was carrying both.

Crown shyness. Real canopies leave channels where branches stop short of touching. So does your year, and the gap is rarely an accident.

Still alive down there, no light in a season. Not failure. Just unlit, and finally visible.

Branches carry the weight
Branches hold the people, and people are what actually connect a Life Grove to a Work Grove. The Canopy stops pretending those were ever two separate trees.
Every link is named
A line between two things is not information. The Canopy labels each relationship with what it actually is — a Grove contains a project, a Segment phases the work in, a Seed is assigned to a person — so the shape can be read rather than guessed at.

Drop into any limb
Select one node and everything it touches comes with it, each link named for what it actually does. A Grove contains a project. A Grapefruit is phased in to Segments. A Seed is assigned to a person. Climb back out and the grove is exactly where you left it.
